Ron Leishman developed and began manufacturing the Ozilite Automatic Cigarette Lighter over 30 years ago.
Initially, the product was named Automatic Cigarette Lighter, now referred to as Ozilite, and was developed for use in Australian correctional facilities. In the late 1990s, Ozilite Automatic Cigarette Lighter was introduced to the global market, and this began the worldwide network of distributors.
Currently, the Ozilite range of products is distributed all around the world from our head office in Australia and through to distributors in the USA, UK and many other resellers.

In 2007, Syscom Building Management Ltd, were proudly appointed by Ozilite to become their United Kingdom distributor of the Ozilite Automatic Flameless Cigarette Lighter. It is incredible to comprehend how this appointment has given our UK Customer base the opportunity to purchase, install and facilitate a piece of equipment that has proven year on year to be a safe, reliable, and cost effective piece of design and ingenuity.
We attribute the ever increasing sales and distribution of the Ozilite Automatic Flameless Cigarette Lighter in the United Kingdom to a number of factors, but primarily to the Effective Function of the Lighter itself. Ozilite products are designed and made to the highest standard and degree of durability and longevity. The overhead costs are marginal, being run on low voltage electricity or solar battery powered energy with simple low maintenance requirements.

In the United Kingdom we are governed by Smoking legislation which has restrictions on smoking and smoking areas. Our focus and best practice is adhering to Health and Safety regulations and meeting these requirements. The Ozilite Automatic Flameless Cigarette Lighter has most importantly afforded our client base the opportunity to reduce the risk of Fire verses that which a naked flame poses, and therefore forms part of the risk assessment that we have to undertake and control in our working or general living/leisure environment.
